Have you ever asked the question, "What is the meaning of life?"  If we are honest, most of us will admit that we have entertained this question at some point in our lives.  Let's face it, life has no certainties.  Just when we think that things are going our way, the bottom falls out.  The pressures and uncertainties of life affect us all.

Did you know that it is possible to have peace, joy and hope even in the midst of life's greatest trials?  At Shively Baptist Church we have discovered that it is God's desire that we enjoy life and not just endure it.  We have found that a personal relationship with Jesus provides us with the stability and hope to face life's greatest trials - even death.  Hundreds of people in our church can bear witness to the difference that Jesus makes in one's life.
